Based in Nairobi, Jamila started her business to support herself after landing a scholarship to continue her studies. What began as a means to an end, transformed into a successful business in which 40% of the profit goes to providing jobs and mentorship programs for vulnerable young people and women. With her, we work on creating our beautiful rings.

Stephanie, also based in Nairobi, founded her own company and for the past 3 years has dedicated herself to designing unique pieces that are inspired by traditional Kenyan styles with a modern twist. The majority of the team are women who work together with us at BamBaz to create our iconic chokers.

Collins has dedicated the last 19 years of his life to making jewellery. In his own words, he loves to accentuate people's natural beauty through his pieces. We are currently his only source of income. 

Our stunning jewellery bags are created by an organisation which supports empowering and employing women in Kenya.
